Almost a year.............

Hi, This is been a year back I created my blog.
My frend helped me to create it and he told me to post
blogs regularly. But I could not post any blogs for
last 11 months. Today I was bit free and I was searching
all mails. I saw mail sent by Jayesh almost a year back.
Again after a lapse of one year I am posting a blog. I wish
I could post blogs regularly from today onwards. I want to
improve my blog.

Veeru V/s Fear

The person who understood the Nature very well is the most intelligent person in the world – Leo Tolstoy. The unique example to this was the brigand Veerappan. He was born in a poor frailly. He did not have any education. But since childhood he lived in forest. Since he spent most of his time in the forest he understood the forest and the animals well. This caused him to exhibit his intelligence through out his life.

Worrying about the danger may cause more anxiety to human than the danger itself. Example – The person against whom the death sentence has been pronounced, the panic about the death may cause more anxiety than the hanging. Veerappan by knowing this truth kept his life to bet. Though the police may perform their duties or not they were getting salary every month. Also they were worried about their families and about their life. Though he was not in touch or contact with civilized world he was very intelligent enough to avoid different tactics which could land him in jail. He was a threat to the public in surrounding area of Malemahadeshwara hills, the police and the workers of Forest Department.

The ultimate fact which comes up is “you die once rather than dying every day”.

Happy Vara Maha Laxmi to All of You Including Ashok

Vara Mahalaxmi Festival

Being a north Indian I never new what a vara mahalaxmi festival is until ashok have sent me an SMS saying "Happy Vara Maha Lakshmi Festival to U & Ur Family".

As soon as I received this message, I was surprised and thoght, Is ashok joking? Than I thought that May be there is a festival called Maha Vara Lakshmi but as of now I know there is only one mahalaxmi festival called Deepawali. Some people calls it as Diwali as well.

It was already 7 P.M. I was at home. I suddenly saw outside from the Zarokha in my house towards the road and It was really some kind of festival. Womens were putting Aangi on the road and houses have lamps lighting. I asked one of my neighbour and they told that it is a festival of karntaka. It is just like deepawali. I immediately went to bath and then come to the temple in our house to pray the God.

Thanks Ashok for reminding me, that It was Vara Mahalakshmi Festival. But still confused whether It is the same thing as Deepawali or something like that.

I hope your response will not help just to me but to all the audience to your blog.

Despite the fact that Indian Cricket Team faced a stunning defeat in the hands of Bangladesh only to find their way back home from the world cup run but this could not prevent Bollywood from sending Team India to the world cup. Of course this time it was the women’s team instead of the men’s and the tournament was hockey instead of cricket. India made a poor start losing to Australia in their first group match but then went on to win the crucial game as well as the finals, much to the delight of the audience, to bring pride and glory to the nation. The coach of course was not Greg Chappel but Kabir Khan, the traitor, who could not convert a penalty in the last minutes of a hockey world cup with Pakistan in the film Chak De India.

Sports, from the beginning has a tremendous influence on Bollywood films. Be it Satyajit Ray’s Satranj Ki Khiladi or be it Anil Kapoor’s Sahebs. Amir Khan & Asutosh Gowrikar’s Lagaan was even nominated for Oscar prize. But Chak De India has a totally different kind of story. Since it was the first sports film in which women’s were the majority. The film also had twist and turns as well as emotions that would make the audience laugh as well as cry and make them feel they are a part of the team. In this way Chak De India surpassed the other films in Bollywood only to portray itself as one of Best film in sport Bollywood had ever made.

Ashok, First I want to thank you that you have invited me to write something on your blog about bangalore so I thought that I should share my experience with you when I went to Hotel Leela Palace yesterday. They have launched India's first IPTV so now we can enjoy telephone, internet, television simultaneously on our existing BSNL Landline. Since It is first time in India, now Airtel, Tata, Reliance etc. have to move further. I have not any BSNL landline as of now since I have airtel but soon thinking to get one.
